The Lotus

The Lotus

Few people know what the lotus flower is one of the most ancient and the deepest symbols on earth. It has been used by those who are practicing the Buddhist tradition and can be found in a lot of temples, especially in China. Unknown to many, the lotus flower closes its buds at night and sink underwater, only to rise again and bloom at dawn. It is the symbol of long life, health and good luck. The lotus flower has served as a reminder of my lost love - a love I wanted to last forever. Perhaps, life has another plan for me, for when I lost him, I gained myself back. The lotus flower has given me a wonderful lesson: "for every night, a new morning awaits, so relax, sleep, because tomorrow, the sun will shine again and you better meet it with a smile."
